Hello Tracker-Types...

Found this today...Very nice graphical animation on this player & is not CPU intensive even on old single or dual-core with XP...

Not feature rich otherwise does have some FX on the front like reverb-Chorus-flange & more...

Plays Modules as well have tested MOD XM S3M IT does fine...

Comes with nice array of 2D-3D visuals & can go full-screen...Drag your module onto GUI & go...

Check it out! Nice for a visual freebie player thats otherwise simple...

Note, There is a 'MovieBox' there also not quite as impressive but also some standalone visuals to DL & play with there poke around...

Thanx...Yeah, I know the hell that is GOOGLE...

It's been getting worse for many years now...I never signed on it or use its features...For searching I find yandex much better...

Google gives you what THEY want you to see-have...

And YES, I know a number of people who fell into that 'link everything to your google account' BS...So when google shut 'em down then everything else was lost as well...

Too bad on the site though...alotta work went in thus far & all efforts vanished! Keep everything OFFLINE...

And forget all these 'clouds'....They always use clues in the name, what do clouds always do?...THEY GO AWAY!....

Now this...sad...

Continuing on...

All these work great in H8 Tracker so probably will in Skale Tracker which I'll be testing too...

SIR Reverb Free which is fantastic...Uses impulse WAVs-

https://web.archive.org/web/20061209230157/www.knufinke.de/sir/index_en.html

Devine LSR Live-Sync Recorder...Records 1-2 bar sectors for whatever-

https://web.archive.org/web/20050908033458/www.devine-machine.com/LSRfree.html

RGC SFZ...One of the FEW Soundfont players to actually work in H8 Tracker and NOT crash (ever)...So is not synthedit crapola...

https://web.archive.org/web/20060516203327/www.rgcaudio.com/sfz.htm

And Galactix 1.4 VSTi...Full function no crash in H8 Tracker-

All these Vellocet plugs work great-

And there is the Voxengo paradigm...All these work great in H8...Go 'up' to year 2005 to collect more free plugs...

Here's another called 'Skewl' which is a standalone sequencer with a WAV renderer...

You can set ur BPM & sequencer whatever garbage...

Kinda has a nice raspy tone like some rebirth setups do...

Useful...OR NOT!!!!

Your WAVs will no doubt have to have envelope cleaned up a bit in your editor of choice...

Then load in ur Tracker of choice & FREAK OUT!

Tracking / Hammerhead, Moonfish & More 'Helper' App...
« on: December 16, 2020, 18:40:54 »
Hola...

Came across the Hammerhead site (Not Bram Bros) on the wayback machine & was able to get all the UserBanks, Mods & LoopXchange coming back...

Hammerhead very simple but FAST drum composition tool & choose BPM, export WAV then spice up in Tracker or in audio editor first then Tracker...

The Hammerhead site exist today but links not there-

http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/

  Go to Wayback version-

http://web.archive.org/web/20110815224548/http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/

NOW when choosing userbank let it 'redirect' then ZIP will come then use back button to get back to dashboard, rinse, repeat...

There are 3 mods there at bottom too...

As to LoopXchange the .HH files are all there via wayback but I did not pick individually too many I ripped using Teleport Ultra ONLY .HH files got back over 2,500 files!!!

Don't know if you can get Hammerhead app there but it's at Softpedia & other spots-

https://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Other-AUDIO-Tools/HammerHead-Rhythm-Station.shtml

Ingenuity using you can get odd time sigs & triplets & such out of Hammerhead...Not great quality but you can enhance a thousand different ways to get something unique & brag you did it in HAMMERHEAD!

You can then Giggle LIKE A SCHOOLGIRL!!!

Moonfish & all other Bram free & note SERIALS that must be used (not for moonfish though)

Moonfish Tracker-like designed as a JOKE!-

Moonfish was designed to be weird. A strange lovechild of HammerHead, an MC-303 and an old Amiga tracker. The only sequencer that can go up to 1230 BPM and only has 3 channels. Tickles your creativity by giving you odd limitations.

Anyways except for Hammerhead all on the wayback (Tunafish & Tuareg too...)

Maybe another useful drumbox 'iBeat' Here-

http://www.syntaxphreaks.de/pages_en/download.htm

There is a new version of Hydrogen on Sourceforge...YOU can find it...

Another good 'oldie' is HotStepper once commercial then released free-

https://web.archive.org/web/20000120005948/http://hotstepper.de/

https://web.archive.org/web/20030619145451/http://hotstepper.de/

Maybe some of these help in your Tracking or perhaps make it worse...

As long as you are Giggling like a Schoolgirl it don't matter!!

Tracking / Re: About The FANTASTIC SVArTracker 1.22 >>>>>

Also another GOODIE with SVArTracker is the ability to take a selection of your pattern then right-click 'Render selection to Sampler'...

In this way you can render say a VST Instrument riff to an audio sample in the sampler & perhaps eliminate the VSTi channel...

While on that subject SVArTracker has 'FREEZE' modules so you can freeze-unfreeze VSTi on one or many tracks...

If I haven't mentioned before SVArTracker can be setup in the sampler to stream samples from disc OR held in RAM...Very cool....

Here's another good one on SVArTracker...

In pattern settings you can assign a 'BIG ROW' highlight and a 'SMALL ROW' highlight...However they aren't too differentiated with the stock visuals...

Go to File>Settings and you can change the highlight color of either to whatever you want...I use 2 different bright light colors as I usually pick a 12-24-48-96 row pattern in order to incorporate triplets (or fragments thereof) for musical variation, interest & to make the syncopations less boring & drab...

This allows the triplet rows to be highlighted different from the standard 4/4 stuff with both converging on every measure which will just show the 'BIG ROW' highlight so very easy to see every measure within each pattern assembly...

Also big bonus whilst on this subject is font size which you can make smaller or BIGGER and the pattern rez just adjusts itself to your new size....

So when you are 90 years old you'll still be able to see the patterns!!

Shoot...Forgot about the function variator!!....

There is a function variator that allows you to perform script commands on pattern selections or the whole pattern as well...

There are also a certain number of UNDOs to this too...

You will probably love this if you are an egg-head scriptor type to no end as you can 'roll your own' and save these presets and also assign hot-keys to such strange events...

NOTE!!!...When you are on this function variator window there is what looks like a giant uppercase 'I' next to where it says 'Preset'...You must press this 'I' to activate the variator so it can be used (AT ALL!!)...

A few other things....

The internal sampler loads SF2's fine but some converted from other formats sometimes don't 'come in' right...Simply discard & use another SF2 from a different pile....

Right-clik-and hold on areas in the sampler or the playlist-arranger to pan the window to where you wanna be like the arranger that disappears or keyboards that disappear, wave readouts....
