[no bug] "beeeeeep" bug
« on: February 03, 2008, 02:34:39 »

wassup?

i noticed that milkytrackers (and also some Amiga trackers) MODs are still strange if you load them into Protracker: some samples have a "beeeep" tone after playing the sample...

This "bug" i also present when you save MODs with Stonetracker on Amiga

Could you upload an example mod?

ahh, totally forget this thread, damn...

well, it seams that this is a bug in protracker (?)... other amiga trackers (startrekker & noisetracker for example) didnt beep.... only the protracker up to version 2.3d ...

About the beep... This is due to the way Amiga soundchip plays "non-loops". I already posted about how this hardware works:

If you want to make your MODs rendered normally on Protracker, just add a little (2 bytes are enough) silence at the beginning of your non-looped-samples.
