pitch and speed
« on: December 29, 2008, 00:16:00 »

Somehow, these two need their own place.

Having to sacrafice pitch for tempo is alright when I comes to a simple wave form, but for drums it can be annoying.

This is really nit-picky, but I feel it's important to have (atleast with the addition of a ram pack).

Well, pitch and tempo are naturally coupled in recorded audio. For changing one without changing the other, some algorithmic trickery is required. This isn't really in the scope of a tracker, but out of curiosity I'd like to look into these, algorithms and see what can be realized on the DS. So, I've added a low-priority issue to the issue tracker.
