Ok I think I understand the volume situation now.
Too bad they didn't deal with it properly in FastTracker.

To me it's a feature and "dealing with it" would be a limitation. I don't remember ever working in a tracker where things would reset just because the song loops.

I'm getting the same behavior as the OP, but with the Unicode version under Windows 7. Attempting to change audio drivers results in a freeze. In addition, it hangs at startup if a config file exists.

Playback and editing seems to work fine, but not being able to read/write a config means setting all of the options every time and not being able to switch resolutions...
