About MOD format and song's license
« on: September 06, 2009, 17:00:33 »

I have 2 questions for uploading my song.

(1)
Can I upload MPTM format MOD song?

(2)
Can I use Creative Commons License?
I want to use CC-BY or CC-BY-SA.

1: No, it's not possible and it won't happen in the near future, because
- There are no players for the MPTM format
- If you use VSTs, you NEED OpenMPT and a Windows machine / emulator to play the modules
- If you DON'T use VSTs / Tuning / etc., you can upload the tune as .IT anyway
- The MPTM format is going to be redesigned anyway.

2. Yes, CC licenses are supported.
