Heh, not that I regret it, but I was into this book and forgot all about the compo. Ah, well, it's all about enjoying yourself. Perhaps I'll be onto next big compo.

A month's notice in advance wasn't enough? I was a big miffed to say the least at the number of people that didn't turn up that said they would.

It was a waste of an evening for me, to be quite honest. The mood wasn't good, I could tell the folks that did participate didn't really enjoy it, so I'm not sure i'll bother pre-arranging one again if this is the sort of support I get for my (and their) efforts.

I suppose the lack of people could also be put down to the over-saturation of compos, especially ones that are almost daily in #mod_shrine (that said, I have also noticed they have had no compos in the last week).
