Any trackers that allow collaboration through a server?
« on: October 14, 2013, 18:49:15 »

Today, I was searching for some trackers for Ubuntu. I found one, gurutracker, that runs in your web browser as a server and allows other people to connect and collaborate with you. The thing is, I don't know how to run it. Are there any other trackers like this?

ImpulseTracker had such a thing, but since it was using IPX for communication and required Win95 or Win98 for this feature to work (I think), it might be hard to set up these days.

DOSBox has an ipx emulation feature. How do I make the server?

Well, that's exactly the problem, the server is a Win32 application, I don't think it could cooperate with DOSBox if it actually emulates IPX over TCP/IP. Plus, The server seems to crash on modern OSes, hence I said you require Win95/98.
