Hi there!

I'm goofing around with my live kit, I'd like to use my Linux netbook to playback some ProTracker MODs, disabling some of samples so I could hear just drums from MODs so I and my band could start playing to it on synths, bass etc.. This is why I'm searching for a tracker which could be a MIDI clock master for our tempo sync.

Is there any software you recommend for that purpose? I am trying with Milky as I believe this is still actively developed software for Linux, but I can't find this kind of option there so far..

Thank you anyway! See you around!

Schism can output a MIDI clock but it's not always correct as far as I'm aware. OpenMPT runs in Wine and can send a correct MIDI clock if you add an instance of its built-in MIDI I/O plugin to a MOD track (note that such a plugin won't be saved in the MOD file naturally, so you always have to set it up manually before playback).
