Tracking library (forum suggestion)
« on: March 10, 2006, 00:45:27 »

Not sure where to post this, but here goes.

I'd like to post issues of TraxWeekly to the forum (it was a text zine devoted to tracking between 95 and 98 ) to be a reference as well as help keep the history of tracking alive.

Would this even be helpful? Wanted? It wouldn't be hard to get them all up, and I'm willing to do it if the interest is there. I was thinking a thread devoted to the zine, with one post per issue. The only problem is I'm not sure where they should go.

Maybe there could be an extra section of the board for zines, articles, and such. Like a library of tracking.

Hey zovik,

That would be great, and yes definitly something content worthy is always good to have. I have some idea of how to work this out - you post the articles in the "Scene News" forum. When I have the new site up, copying that content directly to a dedicated articles section will be very easy for me, so eventually your zine could end up as part of official modarchive content if you wished.

Posting the articles here on the forum in the Scene News are would also give people the opportunity to respond and leave comments etc...

I could set up a dedicated forum but in my opinion it would be best to keep to what we've got now as to not make the activity on the boards too thinly spread.
