Looking for a .mod file
« on: September 16, 2009, 19:16:25 »

There's a .mod file that I'm looking for. It's called "mod.bright" or "bright.mod". Here's a description of the file: Bright.mod lasts for nearly 4 minutes and the file size might be between 60kb & 70kb. This was downloaded from the GEnie BBS in late 1992. I've spent so many years looking for this, and I still can't find it. I have an MP3 copy of this song from a tape that I still have. I'll include a link to it with this message. I was given permission from Stone Oakvalley Studios to use the following link: http://fonix.dyndns.org:40000/soamc/soamc_org/bright_modfile.mp3

This isn't the song. The link to the .mp3 is what the song that I'm looking for should sound like. I forgot to mention that it might be mislabled, since this was downloaded from GEnie BBS. I've looked for a file listing of all of the files that have been available at GEnie BBS, but no luck yet.

Stone Oakvalley's website might be down again. Someone else had the same problem. I can't attach the mp3 because it's too big.

Can you upload it to Mediafire (or similar) and post the link?

No, the site is not offline, but accessing the file is forbidden. I've written Waxhead (the other SOAMC guy) about that, maybe he can update the file rights.
EDIT: Should be downloadable now.
