Despite having selected the "FastTracker2 control" format, Alt-F4 makes the program believing that the user wants to quit instead of copying a block of notes. This issue is not in the Windows version.

And correcting the AZERTY layout made the program less comfortable to use, notably when trying to put a digit in the effect columns.

You need to adjust your GNOME desktop configuration so that it doesn't close the application when you hit alt-f4.

In fact, to enter digits in the effects columns, the keys on the upper side of the keyboards must be pressed. On AZERTY keyboards and the latest version of Milkytracker, the SHIFT key must be also pressed in order to enter these digits.

The main problem is that if several digits must be added through the same pattern, the navigation is a bit tedious as the user must release and press SHIFT continuously, otherwise he could slip and change the pattern or the instrument he is currently working on, because of the combinations of SHIFT+arrow keys.
