Hi,
I found this website, while I was searching for the original MOD files I once recorded many years ago.
So I tried the Search option, but the first search failed completly.
I will describe it below:
I was searching for a MOD file called "100 yards" (File name or Title)
- no MOD files found -
Then I tried to search for "100" (File name only)
- I get all MOD files with file names started 100 or 1000 or even bigger (to much)
- I just wanted filenames started with 100 and not 1000 or 1001 or 10000
Then I tried to search for "yard" (File name only)
- I got only the MOD files started with the word "yard"
- I just wanted all filenames with the word "yard" in it
Like: 100-yard.mod, yard-100.mod, 100-yard-100.mod
Finally I found the MOD file I was looking for, by browsing all MOD files started with 100 , it was called 100yard.mod.
Not the best methode.
Suggestion:
Premit the use wildcards in the search to explain what you want.
Like: you want to search all MOD files with "lolly" in Filename or Title
Then you search for "*lolly*" (except the "" of course)
And you will find "LOLLY.MOD", "2-LOLLY.MOD" and "NO-LOLLY-FOR-ME.MOD"
Or: you want to search all MOD files starting with "star" in Filename or Title
Then you search for "star*" (except the "" of course)
And you will find "STARTREK.MOD", "STARWARS.MOD" and "STARTING-NOW.MOD"
Instead of * as wildcard you could choose #
I hope you will take this mail a bit serious.
I like the site, but the search could be a bit better.
