I used to buy PC format in be the UK in the mid 90's and it went through a period of putting tracker mods on the cover cd's.

Now there's one track I distinctly remember being on one of those cd's but I can't remember any name or artist so I really need some help!

It was a rock track so had guitars but it also has sample lyrics and not just a hook that repeats it was proper lyrics like a full song. I can barely remember the lyrics but they maybe had the phrase "Sometimes I try, someone's in vain. Whyyyyyy...."

Hopefully this triggers someone's memory as it's been driving me mad for years!

¿Are you sure that some exact words are "...Sometimes I try..." or "Why"?
