It would be kind of nice to have support for themes in Milkytracker. It would consist of support for saving the colorscheme changes you can do in the layout screen but also enable you to change the UI completely.

But as a coder I understand that this is a lot of work, because it involves externalizing the UI, which if I'm right, is hardcoded. I understand that it's a massive task, still it's a feature that I would deeply appreciate.

I don't think that saving the colour schemes is too much work, and it has been requested previously; you're right about the amount of work involved to change the UI completely, I think it's unlikely to happen anytime soon.
