Music for indie game: Aftermath
« on: May 23, 2008, 15:30:54 »

Hey there.
Im looking for a good artist to create a song especially for my game.
It is important that...
...the music is created by you alone.
...No one else get the music-file
...I own all rights to the song. This also means that you worn't be credited at all.
The game is called Aftermath

The game sets in a criminal, raw and violent city. You can see street lights, smoke from the ground etc. It is a dark night. The gameplay is hectic, the camera moves fast, and you run fast through the city while killing enemys.
I expect something like Linkin park's "Lying from You". (search youtube)
It would be nice if the songs were able to loop, but it isn't requered. The song should be at least 2 minutes, but the longer the better.

If you are interested, please reply as fast as possible. Feel free to ask questions about my request.

Yes, you aren't likely to find many artists willing to give up all rights to their song, and to not receive any credit.

Oh, geesh. I strongly advice anyone not to participate to this project under those conditions. >_<

'tis rather funny though.

For an indie game, I'd pick credit over payment any time.

This thread cannot expect any serious offers. Seriously. The credit issue and maintaining of copyrights is something the original poster needs to do a little more research into. Therefore, this is being locked to prevent flames. You are welcome to post a new thread, stating your payment offers or a more realistic arrangement for the artist.
