Searching for Known Songs / Cover Songs
« on: January 07, 2014, 20:38:50 »

Hello all,

I'm searching for Cover Songs... Known Songs that are made in 8 Bit
The format can be in XM, MOD, IT etc.

- Modern Music that are MainStream ( Lady Gaga, Foo Fighters, Jay Z, Etc )
- Known Jazz Songs ( Take Five for example )
- Cool Music ( Trololo for example )
- New Club, Disco hits

Can someone help me please ? I searched all over the place but everything i found are not known.
The things i have now are all music of keygen music and sorted the good ones out..

The truth is simply that you will mostly find remixes of popular tunes from the 80s and 90s here because that's when the golden era of MOD and related formats was, so people were most active back then and obviously remixed music from back then. No Lada Gaga there, but Madonna instead. Also, you generally will find less "8-bit" music here since MOD is relict of the 16-bit (Amiga / PC) era. People using samples from NES and other 8-bit machines in MODs is a relatively new (as in, occured in the last few years) phenomenon. Before that, MOD chiptunes often sounded distinctively different from true 8-bit chiptunes.
