Bug report: "Crash with Signal 6"

I just installed milkytracker on an up-to-date Archlinux distro. After displaying the graphics starup sccreen, the program crashes. Here's the console output:

Please submit a bug report stating exactly what you were doing at the time of the crash, as well as the above signal number. Also note if it is possible to reproduce this crash.

Seems to be a known issue. I downloaded the latest patch from GitHub, built it, copied the binary to /usr/bin, and the problem went away.
