Hello! I saw a duplicate. I don't know which is the difference. Not what I listened carefully. Dealing with the same thing (113.93 kb). Maybe it's just the title.

I believe I found a duplicate. xmasdaze.mod, module ID 62701, appears to be a duplicate of chrdayz2.mod, module ID 37022, the hashes are different but the modules seem to be otherwise identical. Both are by an anonymous author.

Yup, chrdayz2.mod contains an advertisment from Music Channel BBS in the sample texts so that one will have to go. Thanks for noticing!

Did the owner of the BBS modify module texts to advertise it? I've seen a few modules that claim to have been downloaded from there floating around.

Yes, typically those texts were not by the original artist, but of course that's not true in each and every case - for example the artist might advertise their "home" BBS through which they spread all their tunes. But with those Music Channel BBS texts you can be pretty sure they weren't added by the artist.
