Trying to find modules used in an old GBA homebrew game…
JBDash99:
Hello! I’ve been on the hunt for a few modules from this old GBA homebrew game from 2005 called “GEMini”, it’s a really fun match-3 game like Bejeweled, but what really makes it stand out is it’s soundtrack, which I believe is full of old modules that the dev got from here…I got into contact with the dev about a half a decade ago about this topic, but it ultimately ended up going nowhere, so I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction here.
Here’s a list of the songs in question, recorded from the game via an emulator:

Track 3

Track 4 (Ignore the “Level Up” voice at the beginning, that’s just part of the game)

Have you tried ripping them directly from the ROM itself?
If they're compressed, another thing to try is to check if they're in RAM.

I haven’t, I really don’t have the tools or knowledge for ripping stuff, nor do I really know how to check RAM for an audio file unfortunately. :-\

You can use a hex editor like HxD to check the ROM for any magic numbers like 'CHN' or 'M.K.', and emulators like mGBA come with memory editors that can dump RAM at a given moment.

Unfortunately, I’m not getting any results searching for CHN or M.K. when I open the game in HxD. I’ve also searched for “.mod” and “.xm” and found nothing…so I’m not sure what to do…this hex stuff is a foreign language to me I’m afraid ???
