Anyone can review...

(1/2) > >>

m0d:
Just so you folks know, the new reviewing area is open to EVERYONE.

If you're a member, just hope to the reviews section and you'll find a menu item on the side "Become a reviewer?". Click it, and Bob's your uncle.

Once you have a reviewing account, your My Area page will show a link to the Reviewer's Home page.

It's all pretty straight forward, or should be, but then again you're the focus group so feedback is welcome.

Please start reviewing!

Aquanaut:
could you, or some other review crew member give write up some guidelines? or are they up somewhere..?

m0d:
This Review Guide is the one we previously used on the site, although it is not applicable in the example it provides as we now have more than two categories to fill out, it will still aide you in thinking about what to write.

There is little chance of any crew member writing up another review guide as it seems that I am the only one here, the rest aren't involved in the content (except in a couple of instances), unfortunately but there we go.

On that note, If anyone wants to volunteer and submit an article to explain our reviewing system here, it would be appreciated a lot. If not, then, well, I guess it's down to me to find the time, which you know - doesn't grow on trees :)

Eagle:
I've been thinking of writing up a review guide. It seems appropriate since I always complain on other people's reviews since they don't measure up with my (rather extremely high) quality standards. :P

But we'll see about when I've got that ready. I'm a bit busy and will be for the following weeks. Got a tracker to program, yah know!

Aquanaut:
that was the link I was looking for I didn't see it linked from the review help page so i figured asking would turn it up. maybe you could add it so others can find it?
also, are reviews screened before being posted?
