Instrument sustain option
« on: November 21, 2007, 02:45:29 »

Hey I just started tracking over the past few days and i was wondering if their was a command to remove the "sustain" option on a instrument...for example if i got a siren is it possible to sustain the volume then when it reaches a certain line it would start to fade out?

If you check out the attachment and go to pattern 02 i just threw in some commands to lower the volume each time...just wondering if their was an easier way...

Just enter a key-off "note" with Caps-lock or the key between LShift and Z (if you have one). That will make the volume envelope move on from the sustain point. And you don't even need to trace the complete curve to zero volume, you can use the Fadeout value on the right to control how fast you want the instrument to fade out (lower value=slower fade).
