hello! thanks for stopping in!
brief introduction.
i'm koda (she/her, 05/19/2007). but unless we know each other on a spiritual level, call me freek. i make electronic music of all flavors, but primarily chiptune, gabber, and happy hardcore. i'm autistic and i have ADHD. i've been composing music since mid-2015 (late 2008 if we include dogshit tape recordings my brother made with me banging on synths like an idiot). i try my best to be a kind and caring person.
trackers i use?
Impulse Tracker, Scream Tracker 2, Scream Tracker 3, FastTracker 2. i'm a DOS tracker elitist :P
computers?
all of my work is done on a machine with an Intel 486DX2-50, 16MB of RAM, a 213MB hard drive, a Sound Blaster 2.0, and a Gravis Ultrasound (Revision 3.4). i also use GoldWave 3.0 in Windows 3.1 to record samples.
occasionally, i may also use my secondary machine with an Intel Pentium MMX clocked at 200MHz, 64MB of RAM, an 8.4GB hard drive, and a Sound Blaster 16 Vibra. it has Windows 95 OSR 2.5 installed on it, and i use it primarily for module playback with ModPlug Player rather than use it for actual module production in a tracker.
i rarely ever use trackers on Windows, usually using OpenMPT on my Windows 11 machine just to throw together ideas that i'll later transcribe into something better on my main machine.
