This jazz tune is happy, delightful and entertaining! Great pianos, organ comp and what to speak of the superb drums (with a lot of jazzy variation) and sax of course. Love the way it starts and ends with public applause, which is apt, since this is excellently performed.

Groovy and cool music. Dominated by the bell-like sounding 80's (ST) synth in a very proper way. Feels like a futuristic game. We are immediately thrown into a mystic city here, and we have to do what we are set to do and get the hell out as fast as possible. It's creepy, moist and dark (cloudy; no sunlight in sight)... The title fits perfectly.

Really smooth, beautiful, harmonious musical arrangements are doing service to a tune which sounds like a magnificent adventure score. Synths, pianos, guitars and drums are doing their very best here. The sound is pleasantly synthwave'ish at times when the synth dominates more, and also I like especially when the very softly crying synth/guitar chorus sets in. Wonderful musical job.

The guitar is impressive. This music is kind of mystical and wonderful; I must say masterly produced. If the musical composition itself had been even more interesting, I could give it full score. Getting this sort of high quality sound out of a 4-channel Protracker tune is always laudable.

Epic tune. The way it starts is awesome, with the piano'ish sample going on and the breakbeat coming in a bit later. In a way a very thoughtful composition; invites some emotion about life. Creates a very special mood. And nice use of 4 channels. Definitely not easy to make. Bravo!

It's old and it sounds old. But still a great work. This game music score consists of two parts. To me, the first part gives the mood of an upcoming battle and the second part, which starts midway, is a ambient piece filled with mystery. The second part is my favorite (not much music is like in this style of wonderful), and it ties in well with the first piece.

I like the drive of this track. The drums are doing a good job and the fat synth pad is cool. Quite short and simple, but with a nice mystery mood.

This is a ride. Although a bit too tough and speedy for my personal travel preferences, I love the harmonies and overall mood being created. The last half part of the song taking off to heaven makes this journey an enjoyable one.

I know I am listening to a master at work here. For a 4-channel Amiga mod, the arrangement and sound production is as good as it gets. The whole thing is very atmospheric. Something like an underwater mood is created by a lot of bubbling going on. We get some space to chill at intervals before the drums - which are groovy -set in and we're back in business. Nice idea of making a riff with voice samples.

This is great! A work of art with a whole lot of drive and dark/underworld feel. Cyberpunk style. We have a very nice atmospherical start-off, before the bass and drums comes rolling in and then the whole thing takes off into cyberspace. The bass plays a central role here. And clever use of speech samples and twisting leads, along with the rolling speed, creates a feverish/nightmarish, futuristic feel. This mod has a special kind of mood to it that not many other mods have... Takk til Codex for at du gav meg en kopi av denne modulen på tg93, og derfor er jeg nok litt biased den dag i dag:)

Goodness. We need more stuff like this. I consider heaven can be created in our hearts with this one :) The music is in the category of wonderful. Soothing as well. Majestic drums - which sounds great - comes along after some time, adding to the excitement.

An old favorite from DeLorean. Actually it sounded better in my mind's memory than to my ears now, probably because I only remembered the best of it :). The main tune is light and magnificent, the second part is kind of dark. So there is a contrast created in this work. For me to give this a 10, I would prefer the second part of this module to be in the same category of nice quality work as the first part is.

This makes for pleasant listening. High production quality. The drums are awesome, and so are the chords. The tune, with its guitar-like leads (plus another synth-flute like lead), is very smooth and sweet, consisting of a few parts nicely connected with cool transitions and effects going on which keeps you in suspense throughout the work. Dynamic.

Another favorite in the 'hyperdrive' style of chip music. The driving bassline and rhythm, tightly packed together with hats so that not an inch of space blocks the acceleration of the listener's journey out of this world. And it's a cracktro classic.

This is a really cool module with drive. Mr. Death shows integrity in this special kind of chip tune characterized by a driving bassline which runs tight with a rhythm packed with hats and leads that slide a lot. And it sounds like a mysterious creation.

This module, which consists of several parts, is quite the opposite of what it's title says. This is one of these old gems among demo musics (Alpha & Omega, 1991) which stands out because it's got some very nice originally composed melodies which are masterly weaved together, even with a few tempo shifts going on for each part, which keeps one in suspense throughout the work. The bassline, drums, strings, leads... everything just flows and sounds great. The opening of this tune sounds divinely inspired.

Certainly a very original tune. It plays around in unexpected ways and stops and starts when it wants to. Light, giving a nice, fresh, optimistic feeling. The percussion is GOOD.

One of the demomusics that stuck with me for all these years, for a good reason. It's a catchy composition. From the good, spacey Virtual World (Tomsoft) from 1991, which this tune fits nicely into. It's kind of weird, in a 100% positive sense. :) I would feel bad if I gave this less than 10! Now I see that the filesize is only 82 kb which makes me even more impressed.

A very adventurous and mystical feeling is created here. Sparesome percussion - no hats or snare - only a bassdrum ticking, which IMO makes for a nice introspective experience. You can surely go for a ride with this one. This chip's combined bass and bd usage works surprisingly well.

The arrangement in this old mod may be simple, but the music composition in itself is very good. It has an original twist which makes it stand out from the crowd. Therefore an 8.

By Bit Arts from the Red Sector Inc Megademo, 1989... This one, from part 3 of the megademo, is certainly one of the most beautiful old Amiga musix ever, IMO. I sense some cool Jean Michel Jarre influences here.

I'm happy that I finally found this old favorite by Fred. As with his other classic, lastsun.mod, I didn't hear it for over 20 years but still I has kept playing, you know what I mean, in my subconsciousness, coming up in my awake mind from time to time. In other words, it left a lasting impression. It was released in an Intro by Triangle (User Disk 5) in 1989, which is a cool drawing of one of these metal cocacola-cans resting on many cubes of ice, in which the scroller enters through the opening of the can, from which a few drops of blood appears also, just adding to the eerie feeling created by this intensely dramatic sounding, epic composition. If the original is by Hubbard it wouldn't surprise me. Don't cheat yourself from this one! :)
