A surprisingly faithful cover. The details, lovingly placed here and there... Fantastic job! |

A very cute tune which I hope started immediately with the second more interesting half. |

Promising start, but ultimately goes astray, in my opinion. Second half is all over the place, and while production quality, samples handling and all that are exemplary, musically the piece feels like wasted potential. |

I had to put headphones for this one, thinking that maybe I am missing something. Nope. Take my opinion with a grain of salt: maybe this was done as a soundtrack for a boss fight in a game and it works well there or something. But as a standalone piece it displays neither melodic nor tracking mastery. So, this rating is to indicate the potential usefulness for someone who is searching for tunes to learn from or to marvel at: this one is not it. p.s.: when looped, the tune is a nice soundtrack for an eating contest :D |

A kind of a classic demostyle trance MOD, albeit lacking in originality, variety and technical prowess. |

Neither the quality of tracking nor the melodic content left me impressed. Everything is played around the same note progression and all the instruments that are added just repeat or slightly variate around the note sequence. The guitar sample feels artificial and is handled with little precision: all notes are just played as they are, with no sliding or vibration. The tune is barely over a minute long, but while listening I had to tell myself to hang on... |

No neighbors were harmed in the production of this tune, I hope! ^_^ Constructive feedback: I am enjoying it, but it could use some panning work (everything is in the dead center of the panorama), as well as variety. Half into the tune, it becomes tiresome. But then again, maybe that's the point :) |

Maybe this could have worked performed live a little better. As a mod it doesn't work: the implementation is quite boring and uninspiring, inaccuracies here and there, like samples not being stopped in correct places and bleeding into the next pattern. Melodically this is very simplistic. None of the notes seem to be important, everything in between the refrain feels as if it was randomly generated. The refrain itself is lazy and unoriginal. Definitely a thumbs down, don't waste your time on this, I already did it for you. |

A cover of a song by 2Unlimited, Get Ready For This. Very poorly executed, unfortunately. They couldn't even match the drum loop to the music. Lazy, nasty and awful. This shouldn't exist. |

Would could potentially be a very interesting atmospheric routine is spoiled by a bad sample. Sample 8, a hihat, contains a nasty click at the end. The retrigger of the hihats on channel 9 is particularly damaging, creating a flood of debilitating clicks that kills any and all enjoyment from the tune. I also don't like the structure and arrangement decisions made. The tune has no center and wanders around different styles too much. I understand that this was done for the demo, and perhaps the visuals asked for this variety, but musically it just doesn't work. I am rating it as 6, Above Average, basically because of an incredibly well written texture which sits in channels 11-14 starting pattern 5. This is a very-very promising line of thought. I just wish it was accompanied by something equally endearing. |

Nice oldskool vibe from this 4 channel MOD. It is very short, but pleasant to listen to. Just when you think it's going to be a boring tune, the author throws in nice arpeggio effects on the piano, which is an unexpected touch. The melodies themselves could have been more captivating, particularly the piano theme at times feels like a set of almost random tunes. I would have also preferred a stronger bending of the "singing" lead, it felt less mobile than it could have been. But in general, I enjoyed the tune. We usually get to listen to mega hits of the demoscene, but it's nice to get a feel for what was regular good demostyle music back in the day. |

This is a ripoff of Doop's famous Doop tune. Specifically, "Doop - Doop (Urge 2 Merge Radio Mix)". No credit is given in the comments or sample section, although one can deduce what the source is since the samples are called doop3, doop4, etc. The module basically contains several main loops of the song along with a separate drum loop. 4 channels consist of 2 channels playing the sample, doubling it for increased volume (!), one channel plays a drum loop sample, probably taken from some house sample pack, and then there is an "original" channel with a kick, hihat and snare. The samples are treated inaccurately and you can see that at times the sample is playing slightly slower than needed and the next portion is triggered before the previous one finishes. But even with this, the song structure is lazy and there is no loop back into any of the patterns, so the song fades away, then waits for several ticks and starts over again. But you won't hear anything, because the volume is not reset in the beginning, so the song plays silently: global volume is still set at 0! You will suddenly hear the music again when the fade out is happening again, since this is where global volume is set again. It will promptly fade out and you will sit in silence for the next couple of minutes again. The amount of creativity that went into this tune is exactly 0. Lazy, nasty and awful. |

An incredible demonstration of tracking mastery, where you shift through the samples, then hear the result, and you are stunned. From a musical standpoint, a solid jazz fusion/ jazz funk composition. Nothing that specifically stands out, just a high class composition of commercial quality that works nice as background and a mood setter. One thing that I don't like is the filename. I don't know if the original author named it that way, but this has nothing to do with anus, nor do the comments inside the file name the track that way. |

But I like the ambition of this epic ballad, and it's definitely enjoyable. Some arrangement decisions remind me of the trance music of the 90s, specifically of Young American Primitive, which can't be a bad thing.
I am rating it a 6/10 and not a 7/10 simply because it is 2019. Was it the 90s or even early 2000s, it would definitely be a solid 7/10.
