| Definitely digging the guitar samples on this one. Feels like western song fused with fantasy -- more fantasy than western though. I suppose the water sample and acoustics and lead sample is what gives me western impression and the melodies and synth parts yield more of a fantasy vibe. | |

| A bit of an adventurous tune -- there's a few changes in the song's feeling as you make your way through it. It opens up strong and ambitious. Then it hits a slow point which to me invokes a nostalgic feeling. The song then slowly progresses to a more cheery sounding tune. Lots of different samples and the rythm gets a little bit of swing near the end. Overall a bright and joyful tune. | |

| An ambient tune with some interesting samples. Some dissonance is found in the melody and some percussion parts are off beat which is curious -- the sample used here slightly reminds me of a less metallic version of the clang sound from Rei's apartment room in NGE. Eerie, yet enjoyable. | |

| I love this song so it's nice to hear an XM version of Phenomenon Choir. That said I think this cover would be better if a few of the robotic voice samples were included in the mix. Also, the opening sample reminds me of something that Kraftwerk would use in their early work -- which isn't a bad thing. Nonetheless this mix is very good. | |

| Not much variation in this tune, mainly sampled percussion loops. There's some nice string parts, but besides this there's not much else that's going on -- which isn't necessarily bad, but for a song like this I feel like there should be more. | |

| A bit repetitive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Given this repetitive nature, the song might work better with different instrumentation. For instance, the percussion is a bit wanting -- it might have been better to use additional hi-hat samples. | |

| Good chip drum line with a very heavy, simple bass and a couple of phaser leads. The tune feels a bit plain and I am not a fan of the hard cuts that are made on the phasers -- would sound better if they had some decay. | |

| Another wonderful tune by Ghidorah! Bright song with high quality samples. I honestly didn't think this song was an XM tune until I ran across it here. What I like best about this song is the intro -- freaking beautiful! The instrumentation used in pattern 02 is excellent -- plus the way the tune transitions and how the beat picks up is really nice. Great structure and good use of panning effects help make this dance tune an excellent one. | |

Another excellent mod! Wicked samples, awesome rhythm -- love the funky parts. I really like the snare drum at the start of the tune. The guitar bits also add a bit of spice to the tune. It sounds like something Strobe might compose if he wrote .mod tunes. |

The melody in this tune is absolutely beautiful (I find myself humming it each time I listen to this song). I almost shed a tear the first time I heard it way back when -- very soothing song. For me, this song invokes some very power feelings. As far as technical aspects go this song is very well structured and makes good use of a key change near the end. The tune also makes good use of sliding effects that really bring out the lead -- and I especially like it when effects like this are coupled with reverb/echo. |
