Composed by K. Jose 04.30.2018 Composition style was based on the SN76489 PSG chip as used in Sega cartridge-based systems. 3 square tone channels, 1 noise channel 16 volume levels per channel Composition style was primarily inspired by music on Sega cartridge-based game console systems (SG-1000/2000/Mark II, SC-3000, Mark III/Master System, Mega Drive/Genesis). For ease, I had to use two noise channels, but I took extensive use of volume level 0, especially when there is still noise playing on the channel right when the other channel begins to play, so it sounds like only one single channel was used, and whenever the noise was done playing, to keep the noise generation as genuine as possible. Additionally, I only triggered the pseudorandom noise note once at the beginning of the song, and the rest of the triggers were taken care of by the volume commands. Recommended playback settings: Use at least 22050hz (44100+hz recommended), with No Interpolation and no volume ramping. If you're listening through OpenMPT, you may not need to change your interpolation settings because I set the instrument interpolation to None. All samples were reduced to 8-bit. Since these tones are simple tones (PSG square tone and generated noise), it should not affect quality that severely.
