As I was browsing into the best-ever mod charts, I saw this song by TSEC, unreviewed. I was totally amazed by the musical quality of this song, we rarely see this kind of quality in today's trance mods. It all started with low string, extended on 2 octaves (well I think), which is giving some depth to the song. That's when the full sequence comes, at approximately 1 minute, that the song really starts: the piano is absolutely great, like in others TSEC song I've heard before. The sequence is great too, and I like when, near the end, the authors transposed the musical elements by 2 semi-tones, which really catch my ear's attention. I really have nothing to complain about else in the musical rating, maybe just about the end, it ends too much abruptly. Beside that, TSEC really knew that they were doing. The only thing that I don't like very much with TSEC (with their '97 and '98 songs) is their lack of originality about the choice of the samples. They are always using the same piano, bass, and so on. Hopefully for them they don't have all the same structure, or else they wouldn't have been so popular with these songs. Not a lot of thing to say besides this: just to tell that if you liked songs like Dreams, you sure should download this one for your personnal collection, cause it worths it. -- DJ Bourg
