Created when I got my old Amiga set up again in the attic. I thought I would have a go at tracking. It would seem, in comparison with my old tracks, that I had improved considerably, still.. it's 4 channel and fairly basic. - m0d

This was the artist's first mod I listened throughoutly, I can't think of actual bad things about it. Maybe the humorous aspect is considerable to be a bit abyssic in some situations, a matter of taste of course... In the end it's wiser to rate with the limit aspect, as it's recommended in at least one coincidence. Thanks for all the good things, if we run into the last time.

This is a fun, well made dance song with Amiga-esque samples. I like it. A lot.

Overall Impression (5/10)

Well, for an overall impression this song, reminded me of course of the old mods made on the Amiga computer, so as for the the nostalgic feeling i'll give you some credits, but there's some problems that i will discuss later that really hurt the song. But there's some growing musician in here, because the overall tone of the song feels ok and it's not a complete disaster. This song, as some euro-dance feeling to it, along with some weird fusion of styles that i can't figure out. Read on.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (6/10)

There's a pretty straight forward arrangement and composition of the song on most aspects, mainly because it's a dance tune, great start by the way, too bad it didn't maintained that feeling of rush, but i think what followed wasn't that bad either. The sound quality of the samples isn't the best, giving that nostalgic feeling of a mod, but i honestly think that they could have a better sound, spicing the quality levels a bit. Tracking technique is ok, nothing to point there, although you selected a lot of different samples to impersonate the main melody on different points of the song, giving a sense of descontinuity or poor transition, mainly because the samples don't fit very well with each other. Besides this there's a lot of tiny melodic pieces that are ok, but in a overall whole it doesn't match very well.

Development (5/10)

As i said there's many tiny segments that are ok, and those keep the song going, if we abstract from the overall tone, also that piano sample, wasn't the best choice, the melody sounds good but it doesn't gives the needed strenght to the overall mix. Also around 3:20 the melody deviated a little, making that transition quite painful.

Creativity (6/10)

There's some creativity on here with many tiny parts that were ok, and the overall melody was ok also, even if the samples don't all fit together for this kind of style, but there's some lack of continuity of the melody and the transitions should be smoother.

Enjoyment (5/10)

There's some replayability, but after some listens the song feels tired. I would recommend a one time listen to decide for the song, but i sense that the artist as more to offer, giving the limits of format (.mod) so i would listen more of the artist's other songs.
