Another one too short. If the pattern order was rearranged a little this could be a good tune. It's a good random background track. Good samples, good rhythm. |

Too short. Needs a little more transition from the simple opening into the heavier production. Good samples, good beat. Take out or modify the wood block sound...make the bass in the beginning heftier and make it loooooonger. |

This is a fair attempt at something different. The loopback is terrible and the the synth pulse brass is overdone. With some editing, this piece could be intriguing. |

This module starts out good with the hanging triplet. It becomes more of a backing track for a guitar or something...which it would be good at if there wasn't an attempt for an upfront approach. |

Tight at first!..reminds me of something I'd hear in an anime film but it shys away too much in the middle. I Like the digital synth samples. |

ok, if I was doped up on something - I would get lost on this one quickly for its two diverse parts. Percussion and sound is a little sloppy, yet it has some unusual sounds and a transition reminiscent of Pink Floyd in the 60's; the production could be quite a bit cleaner and more solid. Don't get me wrong on this one...listen to how the first part slightly carried over into the second part...it's a bit disturbing...in a good way ;p If you're looking for something diverse I'd pick it up. |

Simple. a little repetitious but has a clean, groovy feel. Would work as a nice bridge track between two other trance tracks. |

Truthfully...My honest rating: horribly wonderful! upbeat yet Just plain weird...original and probably something you'll never hear twice. The more you listen the more it mysteriously grows on you. I'll rate it an easy 6 jus' cuz. |

Another weird'ne from O_EX, but a bit more of a solid beat than www_oex_pl_1. In my opinion, I believe this is his best mixed one and a good repeat. Definitely iconoclastic in its production...you just can't put one particular style on it; it's like Oingo Boingo meets J.M.Jarre. |

simple but odd, short trance track. Nothing too exciting but a nice, groovy background track. I think the synth bass could use more presence. |

The thing I REALLY like is the non-abuse of the arrangement: There's one part near the beginning where Jogeir opens up into a simple, electric guitar solo that sounds like Mike Rutherford from Genesis or Slowhand (Clapton) and it only lasts for about 15 seconds or so - so sad and sweet and you'll never hear it again in the whole song. The fifes are not overdone either - using subtle pitch bends and two-note accents (sampled) and not dominating large parts of the song.
As the review team says - 'if you don't download it - there's something wrong with you.' I say if you don't download it - you will never know what to base the best off of. To add, it's impressive to mix an arrangement like this with only 4 channels! 'Nuff said. Thanks, Jogeir!
