Profile

After messing around with entry-level composing software and a cheap, crappy Casio keyboard since about 1995, I started making module music in late 2000. Impulse Tracker was the weapon of choice, Alpha Centauri the chosen handle, later shortened to what it is today - Alpha C. Although the majority of my work is on the electronic side, I enjoy dabbling in as many genres as I can, using Schism Tracker and OpenMPT.

In 2006 I founded the tracker group/netlabel Chimera Music together with several like-minded individuals from the modulez.org community. As an active demoscener I'm a member of TRBL and Digital Sounds System, and made guest contributions to productions by Outbreak, Desire, and Paradize (among others). Furthermore I'm part of the organising teams of the Outline and Nordlicht demoparties.
