Written very early in the tracking scene so very few effects to play with so composition has to pull the load. Impressive work and some of the patterns have some amazing melodies. |

A classic and funny song, written by the RIDICULOUSLY ELUSIVE Marc Brown, AKA Maruku Buranu, one of the earliest-known American trackers, (from Texas?,) who was in MegaWatts with the divine U4ia. He is credited for an unused song in Star Control 2. Good song... Love to see someone compile his music somewhere. Come on, ModArchive! |

Hands-down the best tracked song I have ever heard. I have looped it for over an hour with no fatigue. Rhythm is unique, each channel has a ton going on for the filesize, I adore the melody. Over a decade later and I cannot get enough of it. |

Not a straight cover but a great interpretation with added submelodies, (they actually slightly upstage the original melody.) The sweeping harpsichord throughout is a great touch. I would like to find a lot more of Axis' music as I am for sure a fan. Note: Axis also made a chiptune version of this song that I like even more. |

Seems I am the only vocal fan of this track. Technically it's a bit raw but conceptually it is very interesting. |

Love the song. I really want to know what the quoted text in samples section is from. Regardless, I am a dyed-in-the-wool fan of M. Twang. |

gkja reminds me that I never reviewed this exceptional song. It's very interesting that both he and I have some experience melding this song and Shadowrun--to me it's perfect. Deep, deep, and deep, this song recalls the time when electronic music was used to change the configuration of one's mind, not just make you dance, (although there's little wrong with that!) Play this song in the background with a Rogue-like space game like Transcendence, do homework to it, or just listen to it. Each approach has its own reward. A related note--find Chuck Biscuit's re-mix of this song. It should be in the ModArchive. Great, too, on its own merits. |

I can't remember when I first heard this song--I want to say 2007--but I was in a dark place during the Christmas holiday. Family BS and what-have-you. This song takes the "Jingle Bells" melody and turns it into a minor-key stomp. I cannot hear JB ever again without wondering where the hardcore is. Great solid construction throughout, and when the acid synths start to layer and overarch; well, it's an experience. Thanks for the memory and music, Jim. JUNGLE BELLS |

This is not the greatest use of u4ia's skills, sure, but for some reason I have never gotten tired of this song. I actually prefer it to the original. I just love looping it for half an hour. I don't know. Maybe I have issues. |

I've liked this song for years. The opening instrumentation is worked into the song as it progresses. The sampled vocals are solid. It's a different and entertaining composition...overall, a good dance song indeed. N'zo Iota is a decent composer, and his group, the FMP, were based in Paris. Not much is left to showcase their efforts. They did do a Karsten Obarski tribute web page which shows they had some proper respect for the historical Amiga scene. |

Borgert is not getting a lot of attention. His small collection of songs here are all solid and entertaining. He composes in classical chip using samples from Maktone and Seablue, so it sounds familiar and homey to me. |

This isn't the greatest song ever. However, I really like it a lot and looped it while playing some medieval strategy game whose name escapes me. Since there is little to no feedback for Kenny's music here, I feel like one should acknowledge when someone's song positively affects them. |

I remember getting this song the month it came out--in 1995! I liked it and promptly forgot about it. I rediscovered it in 2011 and realized that it's a well-written song with a good melody. It's also ridiculously nostalgic for me. Listen to it- it'll not be a waste of your time. |
