Technique, Arrangement, Composition (7/10)

I think the musical technique is different from most tracked music, showing an almost spontaneous quality --obviously not something that happens when tracking! -- and could be considered incoherent if not listened to. I personally love it.

Development (9/10)

Arrangement and mix are carefully managed and lovingly assembled. Say whatever you will about the song, one cannot find fault with the mix. The patterns labeled 34, 36, and 37 are a marked downtempo part with a slightly Nagz feel. Actually, it really reminds me of Phantasy Star 2 on the Sega Genesis. Man, I loved that game.

What was I talking about?

Creativity (8/10)

I really like the deliberate use of the antiquated synth brass as part of the melody, which is all over the scales and keys, which I happen to like a lot. There is creativity galore in this piece and if not something you'll have stuck in your head after one listen, it's entirely original. That's worth a lot to me.

Enjoyment (8/10)

This stays in the collection for sure! It'd be hard to be found repetitive as it has a good structure and sound. Some may find it confusing--it is not bubblegum or normal format music. But it isn't mashed-together non-sounds, either. Why not listen to it and decide for yourself? If nothing else, it will likely be a new musical experience for you.
