Had this on my PC like 24 years ago ... I always wondered about it, dug it up looking at a tar file from 20 years ago ... I used a binary file viewer to get enough clues to figure out what to search for here to find the author (it was called "song_.xm"). A mere 50KB... Mind blowing for something of this quality. So it's already quite good, but that Quazar fit this in 50KB goes to show how thoughtfully this was constructed.

One of my favorite trackers. Super catchy. Only downside: too short. The best you'll be able to find under 200kb.

Defies categorization ... calls it dnb, but no more dnb than anything else. Definitely ambient, but not the tuneless ambient that hallmarks that genre. Has been one of my favorites ever since I discovered tracker music in the 1990's.

It worked nicely. Wishing the drum patches were more realistic - higher quality. That would have made it really excellent. It sounds considerably better with wetter reverb - good thing XMPlayer lets me easily add it. I don't have a clue what Slammy is talking about.

Nice sounding samples - good jazz fusion sound. A little too much like chick corea in his experimental days for me, but well executed.

Same feel as the music from the movie "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". I've been looking for this kind of music ever since I saw the movie 20 years ago. Very happy go lucky feel, very cool. I wish more music was this fresh. Everything else seems so tired.
