this track is just insane; watch it in pattern view, and you'll agree. from battle of the bits site: "this started off as an experiment to see if the think break could be beatsliced in a useful manner. then i added that 808 kick to it, and the rest is history. " i think aji did a good job chopping that loop up :) |

| i like how this tune has a good handle on the speed dial. i particularly enjoy the ending; i wish that part was longer. the percussion could use some work -- the snare sample gets irksome. it's also loud; i had to turn it down before my ears started to bleed. but despite all that, overall, it's a pretty solid track. | |

| a nice atmospheric groove. i don't know how the Hunz was inspired by Chrono Trigger when he made this -- it sounds like nothing from the game! -- but it is a good tune by a creative artist. | |

well, maybe this tune has some promise, but it needs more work before it's finalized. I can't tell which is the lead; everything is loud, and in your face. with more emphasis on volume control and panning, it would sound less of a cacophony of sound. some more variation could help, or at least, extend the song to emphasize the parts that... well, you want to emphasize. i hear lots of variation, but it's happening all at once. the drum track also needs variation -- believe it or not, hihat, kick and snare needs more than a simple, generic repeat. finally, give it a name! |

it's a nice sounding tune with a great drum track and nice progressive bassline. the only downside is the over-use of the female voice that plays repetitively throughout the whole song -- that part could have been managed a bit better. overall, great reflective tune! |
