This tune had me tapping my feet. I liked it. Sample quality seemed a little below par, otherwise I'd give it a higher rating. Also, is it just a coincidence that this song is exactly 200,000 bytes? Clever... |

A few years ago when I first heard this song I thought it was similar to something I had heard before, but just couldn't put my finger on it. Then in some wacky coincidence while I was playing a directory full of mods on shuffle, the song "Sweet Dreams" played right after this one; and then it clicked. Around the 2:36 mark of this song, you'll notice that Anvil uses the riff from "Sweet Dreams" by Elwood. Some may view this as musical plagiarism, but like they say "imitation is the highest form of flattery." I think Anvil varied it enough to have it's own personality as it were. Either way, I enjoyed this tune... |

Elwood is one of my favorite all-time trackers and Sweet Dreams is definitely a sweet composition. It will forever be in my "favorites" mod folder. |

This was first posted over 10 years ago and not one single review yet? Maybe mod listeners aren't used to equating mods and classical music? This heralds to the days of Baroque music. I believe this is an original composition by Counterpoint and not some remake of Bach. This is a 4-channel mod people and it sounds like a freakin' orchestra! A great selection of samples and flawless execution in using them to their full potential. Another masterpiece from the one and only Counterpoint. If you like classical music and mods at the same time, you've got to give this one a listen! |

Using a new variety of instrument arrangements and up to 10 channels, Counterpoint embelishes on his already satisfying piece "ctpoint.mod". If you appreciate mods then you can definitely appreciate this masterpiece, if not love it. |

I loved this tune. It's got the feel of an old style 4-channel chip mod with the benefits of the extra channels thrown in for a bit more richness. |

An incomplete experiment in sampling to a beat. It shuts down when it should be taking off. It would be a great intro to a yet unwritten song. |

the beginning sampled "oooh"'s are totally off-key from the rest of the song. Chalk it up to either artistic freedom/expression or tone-deafness, but I think something more in tune with the rest of the song would have been more pleasant. I liked the beat and accompanying sampled rap. A little more variety would help this one out. |

an interesting arrangement. I was hoping it would go somewhere but seems to stay at a mono-tonal level throughout. It also seems to abruptly end. |

it seems quite incomplete. It cuts out just when it begins to get interesting. It had a decent start though. |
