I discovered mod music on the Acorn Archimedes circa 1989. They were usually in Arc's own soundtracker rip-off format called Tracker. I had a bunch of discs of tracker music which must have been converted from the Amiga, and some of them appear on this website. I was particularly impressed with one called Toccata, which is a modern rendition of Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor (BWV 565). I found some music in Amiga game ports in a different format called Tequemusic, and the most impressive game music of all has always been that of Twin World (which to my delight can now be loaded into OpenMPT as saved as MIDI, if you get the Amiga version from exotica.org).
