An agressive electronic tune that seems well tracked, but nothing that makes it stand out above other tunes in its genre.

This is a melodic mid-tempo pop-song. The melodies, the chord progression and drum patterns are all very middle-of-the-road. Nothing much to complain about, except that the tune never does something unexpected and just happily keeps on churning little cliches.

While it's very tough to make a good metal tune in a tracker format, this is a good try. It does run into some problems that ofter similar modules got into as well, though. The fast drums fills don't make the tune sound more "dangerous" like they do on real world tracks, instead they make the track sound fake and kitschy. The same can be said for the flute-like lead melody, which goes nowhere and does absolutely nothing for me. The song also lacks a well-defined structure, leaving me in want of a hook or riff or something else recognizable to cling onto. This is a trait of the genre I know, but it becomes a weakness when your melodies and riffs aren't simply earcatchy enough to stand on their own and catch the listener's attention when they come by. Having said that, this tracks certainly does have its moments, most notably when the lead is absent, and the drums play at a more normal speed, so that the focus rests more on the guitars and the strings arrangement, which are actually very pleasant.

Chip tune with tons of arpeggio effects. Gets on your nerves after a little while.

This is a minimalistic tune, some drums, some synth chords and an echoing voice sound. That's about it. There's nothing here to annoy, because there simply isn't much at all.

A typical chip tune. However, if it's going to be 180kb uncompressed, why not add some good drum samples as well? That aside, there are some good melodies going on in the lead, but not quite so good they are memorable. The tune plods along a bit laboriousy, although it never becomes boring. Some variation in the drums or the overall arrangement could have spiced up this tune a little. A commendable effort.

An interesting techno track. It's obviously made by an experienced musician who knows exactly when to shift gears to keep the listener interested. At times it reminds me a bit of the Prodigy and it also reminded me a little of the Mission Impossible tune. It's well crafted and enjoyable to listen to, although at times it does veer into a direction were it sounds as if it's no more than just some string of cool sound effects rather than an actual piece of music. Overall though, greatly enjoyable.

Nice chip tune. It delivers what you expect from such a tune, but no more. The melodies were good and it had a good feel to it.

A cool little piece of music with a somewhat trippy, yet minimalistic sound. Loved the vocoder effects and the nifty drumming, but I thought the arpeggio effects were a bit too much up front giving it a somewhat out-of-place old school sound. Overall, a nice listen.

Elwood is the master of melody and this tune is his best work (I enjoy it more than Dead Lock).

An enjoyable, but short soft-rock tune with melodies that stick in your mind. Given the limitations of four channels, a very well tracked tune with acoustic guitar work and an electronic guitar solo to boot!

This is a well composed atmospheric piece, with a spine chillign introduction. I would have wished for some more "movement" in the piece, for lack of a better expression, but it goes with the genre I suppose.

A well composed chip-tune track, with great, catchy melodies. I love the altering speed between verse and chorus, the cool key modulations, and I also appreciate the little coda at the end. It's a piece of music that oozes fun and you'll want to hit replay again and again.

This is not a great track just out of nostalgic reasons, even almost twenty years after it was composed it still feel fresh and exciting. Purple Motion's gift for composing was already clear in abundance in this track.

This tune is tracking perfection. It has a slew of beautiful, hummable and memorable melodies, and a great funky feel once the bass and the drums kick in. If I dig really deep the only criticism I can come up with is that it's a typical "game" track which we've heard many times before, but in its genre it's simply one of the best.
