Very nice experimental tune. Sounds like something out of Metroid. It is a whopping 7 minutes and 19 seconds and patterns loop alot. It gets even better when the synth comes in around pattern 12, it has a great dark atmosphere, and does a nice job keeping that. I guess you could say it has abit of goa, rave, and acid feels mixed into it as well. It'd go great in a Metroid-like game. I like this tune very much, no real flaws besides maybe some bad samples, it may take a while to get going but it varies a lot with out going off track of the regular tune and atmosphere. This is one of the better Experimental tunes i've came across on here. I really dig it alot and the percussion is very catchy. It keeps a really mysterious atmosphere throughout. Well Done, especially for only 4 channels.

I believe that the amount of drum loops does not effect this tune in any negative way, nor does it matter. My thoughts are different and I believe this is a very good module, especially since it's a 4 channel. Extraordinary. Might be overrating it but I'm giving it a 10 for pete's sake, but if I could rate using an exact rating It'd be a 9.5, rounded up to 10 for this rating.

The first mod I ever listened to. (I think) This was used for the car select music in Need For Madness 1, and I first heard this in about 2004 I believe. It's slightly edited in Need For Madness, most of it being cut off. I like the original (this) better. Great tune. Nice to note is was used in a demo. 4m 14s long. Has some really interesting patterns in it. I feel just as good about the tune as the author does, the author says this tune is "DOPE" and I believe it is. :) Has a very deep atmosphere. Great background music. If this wasn't in a demo I would've put this in the "Electronic - Ambient" category. Has some old samples in it but makes it work pretty good with neat use of effects and volume control. Nice job!

If I went through all the modules in the scene and made a list of the best this would MOST LIKELY be on here. It's that good, other then being a bit repetitive. One of the higher quality modules too. Uses 15 samples. Oldskool module and one of my first downloads back then too.

This is a great module by the same person who made the most popular mod on this site, Hymn to Aurora/Aurora.mod I think this deserves the place of best known module more then the other one, as this one I think is better, but i don't think this is the best deserving out of all the modules. (I would have to go through all the ones in existence to do that) It's pretty good though. 6.5/10, rounded up to 7

Nothing really wrong with this module but it's obviously overrated, it's an old module but it's actually a little, a LITTLE good, it's not repetitive like others have said. I like it but I hate it, I don't want to give it something too low because it doesn't deserve something really low HOWEVER it's not really composed well, but it's age can be an excuse for that.. Nothing special really but it's one of the most well known mods. Nothing out of tune, but the sad thing is it's too short and it ends abruptly. It would be better if it was longer and actually was completed properly. It's good but I'd say it's a 4-6, but I give it a 5 and below personally, this song gave me mixed emotions, I don't really know what to rate it.. Was thinking about giving it a 6 but the way it ended ruined that. I made this review as I was listening to it. So yeah, 5/10. it's a good example module at the best. It's average. I made this review while listening to it so it's not my best but oh well, this is the best I got for an average module. xD

Very eerie chiptune, due to some of the parts, such an unreal mood created inside your body. Amazing. At 2:23 it's pretty long for a chiptune but it seems pretty short for some reason. Quite the chip though. 8/10.

I'm going to say this right now, I believe that this is one of the best fast-paced acid trance tunes I have ever heard on here. It's truly amazing, goes great with the game I'm using this for, it's a racing game. too bad the beginning seems corrupted when I try to play it on the mod player for the game, will have to go through some editing to make it work so it plays properly. still amazing though. very. And at 3:34 it's not too long and not too short. It's a perfect module, and one of the hidden gems of the module world that I have found. :)

A tune this great a 7? There are some extraordinary samples in this and it's one of the best dance modules I've heard on this site, very rich melodies, amazing vibes, just everything you need for something to be classified as one of the best. This is, imo, one of the best, this gave me chills.

Now this is a truly amazing piece, very peaceful, just gotta say great find Behemoth. :) Very long too, and a lot of variety takes place. especially like 0:43-53, The tune slowly but steadily gets faster. But it takes a long time for that to take place, so a little repetitive in that part but still just amazing.

This reminds me so much of hyperbased/enigma.mod that is almost seems like a rip off of it, but it's not. This is an outstanding effort done by Radar, he composed it very well and seemed to know what he was doing. Great Demo Style stuff. doesn't completely deserve a 10 so imo 8-9, this is like a said very similar to enigma.mod, but a completely different use of samples here, two different tunes, however this is pretty much just an above average (to say the least) demo style tune. recommended.

I don't think it deserves a 10, I'm going to agree with BtMe. There are multiple parts on this song that are out of tune. The drums don't match but I'm fine with that because I like mismatches sometimes, and it's good to try sometimes when your tracking to try new things, but I don't think the author put enough effort into it, I think he just put note through note without making sure it sounds right, and I don't really like the voice samples either. I definitely don't think it deserves a 10, but that's totally my opinion. About the voice samples, I don't like it that much when it's hard to find out what the sample says, and the voice samples are so vague and unclear that it's hard to understand if it's just a noise or if their saying something. This isn't the worst mod I've heard but it's sure below average. It's also very repetitive. I don't like this mod at all really even though it's not the worst, okay attempt I guess. It's not really epic in my opinion, and it looks like this tune was rushed a bit, and the fade at the end is done horribly. I dunno what to give this to be honest. I will give it a 2 as well. On the upside there is real samples and no megasamples, but that's the best there is to say the least. There is no real creativity within this tune and that's what you have to have when your tracking. And I seriously think Behemoth (no offense to him to take it seriously) needs to break down this tune a bit and compare it to other "10s" and make a pure rating of it. But that's just my two cents. When your a reviewer you can't be afraid to rate something low. Just to let others know. And I'm done with this one.

Surprised this has no rating yet, this is probably the best "hybrid" chiptune I've ever heard, (hybrid chiptune is a mix between regular samples and chip samples), this is a masterpiece, it's such a disappointment that I'm the only favorite so far, and I'm sure this will get many favs, I can only imagine it, this has some of the greatest melody I've seen in a module, despite the slight repetition this is a great tune to have in your collection especially if your a chiptune lover, and if you don't like chiptunes this is a tune you must listen to because you will change your mind after listening to this, even though this is a little on the short side I have no doubt that you will love this, as i do. Download this now, because this is an obvious 10, great use of channels, and a catchy rhythm, just overall a great tune. I expect this to overflow with all kinds of great ratings because this is just truly superb. Great vibes, great use of channels, filters, everything, surprisingly all composed in one day, props to the creator. I'm telling you this is on the top of the list of underrated modules, (on another site I saw it was rated a 6.3) and that's unfair, this deserves way higher, I wouldn't write a huge comment like this if it wasn't good. (in fact this is my largest review yet). If I could I would rate it higher then 10. RECOMMENDED.

Powerful rave tune from the start. Very well composed, this is what the creator (P.O.W) is noted for, his rave tunes. Unlike most rave tunes, this is NOT monotonous. It contains lots of melody, making any rave lover impressed. More then impressed, let's say blown away, I love rave myself, and rave is a certainly common genre in modules, but many can't do it like this, listen to this and feel the true power! The creator put a lot into this, and it shows, the variety shown in this is absolute amazing, it is very long too, however the thing I don't like is how it stops abruptly, it was great, but it needs to be extended, or at least have a cleaner ending to it, not the worst ending I've seen though. 9/10 and a great module to have in your collection. (I think that was my longest review, I'm getting better. xD)

Don't know what to say about this, very nice Tranceish-Rave mod. Very nice overall. Unlike most rave tunes this is, if at all, barely monotonous. Cool samples (I think) and nice song. PS: This is waaaay better then spectroscape i.

I knew from the second I heard this, I knew I would love this song, and I did. Great song, the guitar, everything is right about it, it's impossible not to like this, it's perfect, to say the least Starts out maybe a little too quickly, the drums come in as soon as 5 seconds into the song. It definitely sounds like some Classic Rock song you would hear on the radio, some great stuff. No doubt, a 10. A little on the funky side but it's more rock. Recommended.

Great guitar samples, at first I thought it was a mod remake of a song I didn't know of, but to see that the guitar samples are HIS own is truly amazing, take that back, this WHOLE SONG is amazing, the creator had a great idea of what he was doing and, just overall everything I just said is an understatement, this is mind blowing, this sounds like an actual rock song from the 80s. 10, very short though, wish it was waaaay longer! :(

Whoa! Wasn't expecting this! This is nothing short of AMAZING. Very funky tune, If you like hard rock and funk, this is the mix of both and it is definitely recommended to all kinds of people, especially the wild ones! :P Not sure of the genre but put it as funk because it fits the "funk credentials" lol.
