I truly didn't expect this cover to sound this good in the .xm format. I have things to learn... This is overall a pretty solid cover.
Technique, Arrangement, Composition (8/10)
This use of samples is really well mastered. It's almost as if it was used in a more "professional" DAW. Although I love trackers, have no problem about them.
Development (9/10)
All the instruments flow pretty well. The use of multiple drum tracks and the filter chords were really good ideas too.
Creativity (6/10)
Here we're talking about a cover, and I might say that despite the ouitstanding quality of the cover, there are some issues. Especially from pattern 14 to pattern 21. For instance, there is a chord missing in pattern 15, an invalid chord resolution in pattern 14 and wrong notes in 19. Everything doesn't correspond to what Yousuke Yasui wanted it to sound like in the original song. I dunno if it's actually arranged or not to make it detached from the original. But where things actually fit, other do not.
Enjoyment (7/10)
Yes. I would keep this in my collection. It's a pretty solid cover, as mentionned. And I'm sure Yasui himself would love to hear this take on YO-KAI Disco.
