Song is a real trip to old games ambience, with the dream-like quality of cinematic music. It really immerses you into an old PC games-like nostalgia, and you can think of an alien/industrial/man on a mission type of universe in your head.
Technique, Arrangement, Composition (8/10)
The instruments could sound a bit thrown around randomly, but they all work really well together, thanks to a great orchestration. The tempo also seems to change between each parts, which is, REALLY nice and well done, for how natural it sounds.
Development (9/10)
benJam handles the arrangement between parts really smoothly, the buildups are well done, and no part is boring! Not too much repetition, not too much chaos. The mix is perfect to me, in modern standards would lack some bass, but this kind of vibe to me sounds great without bass.
Creativity (8/10)
As this is a sort of compilation (or so I think, seeing the modarchive details), I won't comment on melodies, but the three songs work really well together. Kind of sounds like a military departure in the beginning (piano, snare occasional hits, strings), with an emotional guitar, and then goes back after a neat transition to an outro/aquatic-level thing, keeping the same instruments.
Enjoyment (10/10)
I downloaded it, will absolutely listen to it a lot. I hadn't listened to a lot of this kind of vibe since a while, but this kind of nostalgia makes me escape the boring-ness and chores, really makes the day worth it. You rock, benJam! For all your other songs too :]
