From lots of productions in the UVR roster, bot shined for simplicity, humour touches and hardness. This track shows how simple you can get with speedcore while leaving it great, is the percussion all along that sends the track to the more groovy area. Tracker speedcore in 99 was great, and this guy showed that complexity on it might not be necessary to be kickass. Rest in peace BPMBot. |

Ivan was amazing, this is one track that stands out from his productions, sadista tended to be goofy and humorous at times and sometimes got serious and very raw, just like this track. The track is pure amiga hardcore quality, fat bassdrum and very well executed samples, reminds me of early Rage Reset with tracks like Source or Subconcious, just amazing. |

Castrom makes a nice appearance at SCP once again with one of the most creative tracks i've heard. Castrom consisted of three dutch guys and released mostly on the SCP label and some on their non-archived website, the track is erratic, energetic and very weird, but it's addicting as hell. As well as other castrom tracks, the use of the "X" command is present all through the track. One of the members was reiner van hall, maybe the same guy that years later will transform on DJ Radiate but not so sure, oh and there is a lost cd of theirs with no info on the web. |

having released several techno and trance tracks on multiple compos, dj unique joins gabberheads which was a so-so group in the 90s, Psychosis is probably one of my favorite hardcore tracks of the era, while UCP was releasing the same kind of artists over and over, small groups like this were holding these gems all along. As well as Bring Down the Bass, this track makes a brilliant use of stereo techniques as well as a great glided melody through the track, did i mention the godfather samples works perfectly for a reason? |

Probably the first rotello track using dune samples, it would be an usual theme on rotello's sample choice with tracks like Overdriven for example. The track composition is simple but very effective at achieving a rather cheap and noisy hardcore sound, later on the production of rot became way better but this is a nice starting point for more cool experiments. |
