My E-Mail: NEPTUNIUM238@OUTLOOK.COM yes its 238 on the email when it should be 237, sorry.

I can program in multiple languages, create circuits, art, and of coerce make mod tracks.
I'm not the best at any of these things. jack of all trades situation.

I'm always up for a good chat.

Also I always forget to put it in the internal texts, but all of my
music is CC0, aka public domain. you can do whatever you want with it
without needing permission. yes even sell it :]

ps: greetings to everyone. you guys have been making some great stuff.
every time i come around its like a music buffet. thanks to Alembic for
letting me join their group. have a good one!

NEPTUNIUM237: Good, thank you for listening.
Commenting on everything and basing your rating on personal taste defeats the entire purpose of having a rate system; As i said, if everyone did that, all tracks would equal out at 5 and no one would know which tracks are actually good within their genre. Put your personal taste in music aside, it should be irrelevant when reviewing tracks. Cheers

Re: To answer your first question: I've been away from TMA for a while now but i used to rate everything that was posted, I was thinking of starting that up again. No I wasn't trolling, the skill and effort that where put into making it are obvious. the only reason that the score was average was because of personal taste. I probably don't need to rate everything. It's just interesting to dig into the tracker file, listen to full songs no matter how long, and actually think about it. It's not like Spotify where you just skip songs because you don't like the first 10 seconds. Anyways I'll take it easy with the ratings. PS you got me thinking about the ratio between personal taste and skill. Is it beauty is in the eye of the beholder and/or is skill everything, and what should their relationship be when it comes to art.

Re: OK, so I'm confused. You say that you're not into trance (why are you reviewing things you admittedly don't understand or listen to?), but you say that it still shows skill (thank you), and then you say it's good stuff (thank you), but you drop a 5/10? Are you trolling or did you miss-click or something? If everyone behaved like this and rated genres they don't personally like 5/10 no one would have 10-rated songs, you do realize this right?

hey, thanks for the rating, good to hear that people are actually seeing (and enjoying!) my tracks.

actually, the samples are taken from OpenMPT's OPL driver as a bit of a joke - the compo site which the song was made for doesn't allow OPL mode usage in modules, so i recorded some samples from it for people to use since it's technically not against the rules :P

anyway, just stopping by to say thanks! and if you are interested in joining a mod group and have a discord/irc client, let me know, i'll send an email your way :D
