Oh, hello, didn't see you there! Welcome to OpenMPT. I am  one  of  the  two
current main developers of OpenMPT, and I also happen to use  this  software
quite a lot, too.
For the release of OpenMPT 1.25,  I decided to host a little competition  to
gather some great new example songs to ship with the  program.   Instead  of
picking some random songs from my favourite  module  artists,   I  let  them
compose a song using a given sample set (plus additional  samples  to  their
liking) specifically for this release this time. And  of  course  I  decided
to have my own tune in this compo as well...
I don't have much more to say now - I hope you enjoy using OpenMPT,  and  if
you are a recurring user,  I  hope  you  enjoy  the  new  features  in  this
OpenMPT version.
If there's anything you do or don't like about OpenMPT, or if  you  found  a
bug, please do not hesitate  to  tell  us.   You  can  find  our  forums  at

Oh, and what's in the title? Tonight, I saw the first shooting  star  in  my
life...   at least I think it was the first one.
