This song sounds a little plain, but then again I guess you can't help it much with 4 channels to work with. The song has a good sound overall, but the cry sample ruins the song be sending a pretty nasty sound to your ear. The licks and the hallbrass blend well to produce a nice melody to listen to, but the some of the sound effects like the cry sample damper the quality of the mod. Well, a very odd 6 min song. The author could have used the shakuhachi a little more, as it made the song sound very good. What he or she could have done also is avoid getting the two notes together at one time because it more often brought out the intrument out more then intended. Once again, the cry sample was not a very pleasing sound and ruined the mood of the song. I believe the author has potencial for a better rating than this.

Based on a Bach song, this one doesn't sound to bad. Fairly straight forward and short, but what is in it sounds good. The only thing I find that's not pleasant to the ear is the drums in a classical piece. It doesn't seem to go well with the nice smooth flowing piano and ruins the enjoyment overall. The Piano instrument is one of the better ones I've heard, but the drums sound like it's just one sample being used over and over. The piano flowed almost flawlessly, which sounded very good.

This song starts out with many sound effects and voices, which can get very annoying, but later on it tones down a little and the song becomes at least interesting to hear. All in all, a well done song, minus the guitar being recorded into 3 samples, but I don't think that's not all that bad in a mod, seeing with the limited channels you have at your disposal. Everthing blends in well, minus the sound effects which can get annoying, but the author avioded the feeling that there was something missing which can be tricky in a mod. Not a bad song overall.

Pretty good for a mod, sounds good overall, and with using only 4 channels, there is no feeling of anything missing. There's a few thigns that could have been better however. The end seems like it isn't the ending, as it keeps going as normal and suddenly stops. It needs something to tell the listener it's over. Second of all have at least one change of idea, as it's the same thing all the way through. Sounds good, but it could have some more to it. Overall a good solid song, but the drums being the bad point. I've heard those drum repeats used before, and it wasn't just the second time I've heard them either. I think it could have been done with specific drum samples and had the same effect, showing how well the author could use his samples. Pretty simple layout but can't really do much about that in a mod.

Not a bad song, one of the very few who actually had a fast drum beat and did it without cheating (at least one that I had to review anyway.) The song seems to drag through the 8 minutes, seemingly never ending. Has a good beat and sounds good, if you can stay through the eight minutes. I ust say I like the drums, as they sound good, without the whole thing in just one sample, he actually used a bumch of individual instuments to make it go together. Could have used some more variety in the background though to keep it interesting in the full8 minutes to keep the person listening, but a good job overall.

Great sounding song! I definitely recommend you to download it. All the samples sound great together, good melody, nice background, all done in 4 channels! This didn't get a 10, but totally not for this reason. No complaints here at all. There's one thing I didn't like about this, and that was there were guitar samples with the background. I can understand why they'd do that in a mod though. Very good song and pretty hard to get a good mark out of me (so it seems lately...) and this song blew me out of the water.

Good sounding overall, but very simple in nature. That's probably due to the fact that there is only a 4 channel limit on the mods, but seems to be lacking somthing.. some harmony of something along those lines. A faster tempo on that song I think would make it better as it seems to drag a little. Overall good sounding and blends well. Limited samples used, and not much to spice it up, but is made up for it with good sounding samples. Some added effects would have been nice like fading the ping sound and maybe a slight vibrato there. Other then that not a bad job.

What do you get crappy sounding drum samples that could have been doine withouthaving the rythem in only 1 or 2 samples, having really bad sounding bass only on 3 notes, blaring, and someone swaring about nothing? This song. I really like to hear the techno kind of songs but this song stunk. Has one main instrument and has drums rythems as it's main idea. Come on, I know you can do a better job then that. Just try.

Finally, a plesat song to the ears. Very few things I don't like about this one! It sounds good, I just have a thing with people cheating with the drums like that in a sample, and that there isn't much going on at one time, but he made up for that. Sorry, but the way the drums are used in 1 sample annoy me, I made that drop the value of 10 by a full mark. the simplicity knocked a .5. Other then that everything is there, and look forward to listen to more of his work.

This song was promising, then it died off. The pinging sound all the way through the song could drive a man mad. If you turn that channel off, the song sounds pretty good. Samples that are just chords in something like a xm file are useless, because you have many channels to work with. Plus you can change them up as often as you wish, not being stuck was 1 type of chord. The looping of some samples, mostly the strings, ruin the quality of the song. It's annoying to hear the little jump in the sample every time it goes around. The authors didn't use anything besides notes and volume change, and made it sound very simplistic. Good effort guys, but spend more time on the songs and the results willturn out better.

After a pretty basic intro, it finally gets interesting. A good sounding s3m overall. I feel that the piano could have been a different instrument to give it more boost, as everything else is killing it. Has some pretty good sounding drums, and the song is pleasing to the ear. The clap could have been a tiny bit quieter though. This is my opinion, but when all you have is the alternate channels going with each at opposite ends, it can be rather funny to the ears, and if there's to different songs going on. I'd recommend that at least give the left or right side somewhat of the sound. Has some good drum samples and the main instruments blend well, minus the piano that seems a little drowned out. The intro needs a little something, as that part cries some backup. Good job overall.

This song really does set the mood for through space, having a nice beat to go along with it. It's nice to have the melody stand out, but it could have been quieted just a little. Taking into effect that this song is dated somewhat, and has only used 4 channels, he has hidden that fact pretty well. The swishing sound though kind of wrecks the song a little but otherwise a good sounding sound overall. As I said earlier, with working only with 4 channels, it's pretty tricky to get everything going without the feeling that something's missing. The author did a good job of hiding this face with some good quality samples. The only problem is there some pretty bad ones, like the swishing sound sometimes in the background, but it does help the effect a little. I don't think changing the note of it wouldn't have made the sound sound worse, and make it sound bad when it gets low. Otherwise a good job on the song

This song's background gets annoying early, as it is the same thing repeating over with a not so great sample. Being very short at 34 seconds, this song could have been extended quite easily. The reason why it achieved a 4 rating and not lower is because everything at least blends in well and sounds decent in that respect. The samples could have been a little better, being little more then beeps with bass and drums. I think that the author could have used a bit more variety in the background and possibly make the drums have some variation as well.
