An above average trance song. I didn't enjoy the overall flow, except for the 7:04-7:56 part, it's a bit too repetitive for my liking. It looks like the song was rushed, eg. echo effects at the end of a pattern weren't copied to the start of the next one. Sample quality is good. I wouldn't say it's brilliant, worth the download if you like trance though.

Nice rendition of Johannes Bjerregaard's C64 music. I get the feeling some small parts are slightly off-tune though.

Nice harmony there, and I like the rhythm change halfway. The only letdown is it ends a bit too soon.

Horrible. Seriously, don't listen to this unless you liked Wolfenstein 3D in the early 90s. Now for the subjective part of this review. This song used to trigger laughs from me back in the day when Wolfenstein 3D was cool. It's still kind of funny.

This is the titlesong of the Amiga game Pinball Illusions. Very catchy melodies and interesting chord progression, mixed with some techno. Full-sounding, don't let your ears deceive you: this is a 4-channel MOD.

I love Jeroen Tel's style, the variation, rhythm, and harmony. This song fits in well, and is in par with his other songs. Except this one hasn't been composed by him. Thomas Andersson aka drq made this jewel. One might say that this song is therefore unoriginal, I'd disagree. Tel's style is not a trademark, it's a style near musical perfection. Great job drq, hope to hear more like this (as you likes to put it, "real" songs instead of one hour compos)

Yes, it's a good song considering it's of the repetitive Goa style, the complex melody line doesn't get boring. It could use some improvements to the bassline and drums though.

Pretty nice ambient piece by TMA newcomer MoonBird. I like the drums. The piano melody could use some retouching, that sounds a bit dull and off-tune.

I agree with the reviewer's rating, but I disagree with the reason of its low rating. This song sounds pretty nice, even though it's only using 1 sample. The thing that makes it deserve a low rating is it's a simple MIDI conversion, probably took about 2 minutes of Kitsune's time.

I think this song is overrated, it's getting perfect 10s everywhere. It's a funny song that would fit right in a cartoon, with well-timed sound effects and suiting music. Enjoyable to listen to, but not worth a 10.

I have to confess, the reason I'm commenting on this particular song is that its composer is a good friend of mine. I'll try to be unbiased. If I had to categorize this song, I'd put it in the "misc" section, it's a creative composition using a personal style. The musical quality is alright. The sustained melody in the 1st section is kind of annoying, sounds like a technique I like to call "chordsurfing".

This is rather funny. DJ_Markus took one of my songs, removed all patterns, and created his own song with the same instruments. The funny part is where he forgot to remove my comments. Musical quality is not very good, but I like the instruments ;)

This is rhythmic noise. Ok, so this song was composed under the influence of marijuana. It's nice to test your capabilities for experimentation, but please, double check the result next time you're not stoned.

Like I said earlier, I normally don't like trance songs. Around Chaos is a typical trance song with elements I hate (repetitive, ridiculously long build-ups)... And somehow I really like this song, it's almost magical.

I normally don't keep any trance songs in my personal collection. Nuclear Illumination is a rare exception to this rule, I've had it since 1999 and still enjoy listening to it.

This is an old MOD about Bert and Ernie arguing about apple pie from the Dutch Sesame Street tv show. The musical quality is close to zero, but the comedy factor is alright, provided you're Dutch.

I was astonished, finding out my Adlib was capable of playing techno music, instead of those funny FM sounds. This is one of the first MODs I've heard, and is placed in the nostalgic section of my brain. It still sounds special to me, but if I force myself to listen to it objectively, it's just another mediocre techno MOD.
