Entertaining piece, starting with an almost growly sample. Then mellows out for a while, before speeding up into a quite blippy techno section. Odd. 4-6. |

Also rather wimpy Blade Runner cover. A more faithful version than blade_runner_end, and a smidge less watered down, but still not really good enough to listen to. 2-3. |

Rather anaemic rendition of the Blade Runner theme. Reasonably faithfully done, but badly let down by the poor samples. I have a Midi version that sounds better. 2-3. |

Fast techno piece, quite well done for the small filesize, but not very musically creative. I was more interested in the weird background sample from 40-55 seconds, which I did like. But still 3 overall. |

Tracker which starts out with slight oriental overtones. Rather piercing, though, esp. up to about the 40 second mark. After that, retreats into blandness. Competently executed, but no spark. 4-5. |

Discoish tracker. Also generic, but better than many. 5-6. Didn't like the voice samples at the beginning, but then I rarely do. Not really any connection to Apollo 11, frankly. Ought to have been a 60s-style space age piece in my view. That would have fit better. :-) |

| Mellowest opening for a metal track I've ever heard. Then growls along very nicely. Not exactly a work of genius - more support band fodder. The out-of-tune bits don't work very well. Experimental rock, really. Needs more refinement. | |

| Starts out as a sweet easy-listening style tune, then for reasons known only to itself turns into a Stomp-style drumfest about 3/4 of the way through. Rather out of keeping with the song's initially-established tone. Poor ending too; it pretty much just stops. 2-3. | |

| They're heavy rock bees. Quite clever to make guitar samples sound reminiscent of bees buzzing, but . . . this track is nearly 4Mb, and yet it sounds like a 150k 4-track. And not a very good one, frankly. I expected a lot better. | |

| Quite good for a mere 30 minutes work. Like the glockenspiel meolody, but it's a tad overused, and the snaredrum beat is intrusive and not varied enough. Overall, rather repetitive. Good technically, reasonable samples. Takes till 2m30 before the track does anything musically different. A good 3m track diluted to 4m15. Lose a minute off the beginning, and it would be 2-3 points better. | |

Starts mellow - more autumn than winter. Tempo change at 1m33 to a warmer springlike piece. Then a faster-paced section which is almost a different piece joined on to the first. Technically and musically quite good, but slightly let down by its mixed/inconsistent musical composition. |

Seems to starts in-mid track (and stops equally abruptly), but a jazzy upbeat piece. Short too - only 1m 22. Not sure 'Modern Jazz' is quite the right category but I can't think of a better. Would score 6 if it had an intro and an outro. |

| This is a sort of halfway house between parts II and III; III is very thrashy. Elegant intro, nice xylophone samples. Cymbals not bad. Suddenly gets much angrier (and thrashy) at about 3m30. Nice melodies in various parts of the piece, (esp. strings.) but the overall musical theme is slightly weak. 6-7. | |
