Nothing new here, but the other comments are right. Light hearted, basic chip music. Listenable in a playlist oriented towards this stuff, but I've heard it all before and it's predictable. Kudos for the good work on the samples though. Good samples can make a really predictable arrangement nice to listen to anyway. |

The full review for this song is right on. I agree that it might find a place in a rave playlist, or where more of the same of this style was needed (where it wasn't important for new or interesting material to be played). You can safely pass over this one unless you need filler for your dance or rave oriented playlist. Read the full review for a spot on analysis though. |

Very basic. Sounds like something someone did as an experiment. Not a song you'd want to have in your playlist. Predictable progressions and basic samples, you can pass on this one. |

Run of the mill chip tune. The same samples, arpeggios, and everything else you've heard before. |

Surprisingly upbeat and motivating. If you're a fan of quality modules from the 1996+ period, you'll enjoy this. As I said, it uses chords and notes that tend toward a feeling of motivated action. This one is going on my module playlist. |

If not for that incredibly offputting snare, this one would still be one you could ignore based on the fact that it uses cliche pop devices. Tracked music attempting pop never worked for me. |

I agree with the other reviewers that it does try to be too in your face. As a sort of "cyberthriller" themed track, it could work, and if you really want to hear something in that vein, take a listen. Otherwise, you won't find anything new to enjoy. |

Samples used remind me of something from those guys that do Y's soundtracks. Mildly listenable if you want something to add to a video game style playlist, but the percussion probably spoils that. The percussion sounds too punctuated. |

Reminiscent of 90's mod era. Sounds like an early effort with basic/predictable note patterns and samples commonly used in that era. You can ignore this one. |

Dated piano tunes and very basic chord / melody progression. Common thing you'd run across at that time. Not worth a listen if you're looking for something new and interesting. Good at the time I suppose. Gets a 1 for now, but if this were 1997 I'd give it a 8. |

The "8-bit" led me to think of something inspired by retro video games, but I'm pretty sure it means the sample quality. Repetitive and unfortunately chooses to make use of predictable chords and progressions for its attempt at being deeply emotional. Somewhat decent instruments, but the percussion could have been much better given it's from 1999. |

Nice and energetic with good production and good samples. For the style it tends toward, it's good. It works as a regular song in a shuffled playlist. I just wish the author would have picked a better sound to take the place of that electric guitarish sound. |

I can enjoy this one knowing the context and era (1995 demo scene). Has my favorite musical devices for that type. Stuff that never gets old and would have a long life span in playlist oriented on this musical style. Great as a demo tune. |

Predictable and slightly boring basic chords and melodies. However, the samples are decent. Also, there are some nice dynamics with some of the samples. Listenable perhaps a few times. Could stay on a shuffled playlist when you simply need something to listen to. |

Decent, and well done given the year. Shows a little experimentation. Familiar musical devices abound, but they are nevertheless some of the ones that never get worn out. Probably good for a few repeat listens in a shuffled playlist. |

Standard elements with little variation. A lot of repetiton. However, the familiar elements are some of the more enjoyable ones which makes this basic attempt bearable. |
