Sometimes, modules that are big by a file size also have a high level of quality. This module is 5.80 MB in size, but the previous statement is not true here. The module uses big, but low-quality samples. But that's only half the trouble. It is worth paying attention to HOW these bad samples are being used. The composition is, in fact, an alternation of two themes in different variations. The change of themes is done through white noise. Great, isn't it? As for the themes themselves, I will call them primary and secondary. Primary theme mainly consists of an anxious lead sample and no less anxious drum sequence (which is possibly the best thing in the whole module). Secondary theme has 6 variations, 4 of them resemble the sound of an old video game console. Fifth variation of the second theme (pattern 33) ends abruptly without even reaching the middle. The semantic unity of the composition is completely absent. All 5 minutes and 5 seconds it is impossible to understand what exactly the author of this module was trying to achieve. An atmosphere of horror? It is here, but it is rather silly. Verdict: this module is a nasty nonsensical mishmash. It needs a serious development to be satisfactory. |

| From the start to the beginning of the last third of its length, this module sounds pretty enjoyable. But then it just plays copies of one pattern again and again, only each copy is faster than the previous. The playback speed gets absurdly high, and then the melody is discontinued by a blast sample. The ending is ruined. Melody too. This module just needed a wittier ending to be acceptable. | |

Very first FUMIX tune serves its purpose well, because it gives a general idea of most of the subsequent FUMIX tunes, shows the concept of the entire line of modules as a whole. It has a pleasant sound: percussion is unobtrusive, synth pad is soft. All patterns in the order list are unique (this is true for most other FUMIX tunes too) – this allows the melody to reach its potential and avoid unnecessary repetition. In total, this module leaves a likeable impression. By the time I am writing this comment, there are 85 FUMIX tunes on TMA (83 regular tunes + 2 mixes). This is a full-fledged musical series, I look forward to each "episode" of it. I wish there were as many “episodes” as possible, because they are interesting to listen to. Keep up the good work, Maran! |

| This module has a very groovy sound. It is well-varied for its 6 minutes and 50 seconds, and thanks to this, it still sounds attractive when listened to after a while. This module also realizes the concept of two contrasting harmonies that constantly change with each other. I really like this musical trick, it is rarely found in other modules. | |

| Sounds like a good soundtrack for a fighting game for PlayStation 1. And that's why I like this module, it reminds me of the days when I played on the PlayStation 1 a lot. I still have it in a working condition, and after listening to this module, I want to get it out of the closet to play some of the games that I have, again. | |

| A chiptune disco? A dance chiptune? I don't know what genre this module is, because it is a mix of two or even three genres. Anyway, this is a very good blend of genres, which sounds very, very decent. This combination of genres is hard to imagine, but this module proves its right to exist. And that's great. | |

| A nice tribute song to a good old Windows XP. The title is self-descriptive – all samples were taken from Windows XP "Media" folder (plus a "ding" sound, which exists since Windows 3.x). There is also a video on YouTube featuring this module – it is a screen capture of ModPlug Tracker (nowadays – OpenMPT) playing this module. | Author lied by stating that there are no special effects – this module uses tone portamento and vibrato commands here and there. Plus most of used ST-01 sample disk samples have been altered – they are not in their original state. But is this a disadvantage? Chances are, I'm just nitpicking, because the song is nice and very catchy. Good job, well worth a listen. | |

| This module is an example of an extremely advanced use of classic ST-01 sample disk samples. The author managed to give a second life to obsolete, purely nostalgic samples. Outside their native MOD format, in an IT format module, after post-processing, they sound surprisingly wonderful. It is worth to mention that there are ONLY post-processed ST-01 sample disk samples in this module. IT format capabilities made it possible to create an extraordinarily deep melody. Samples and melody, connected together, create magic. A special kind of magic. | |

| This is one of those modules that can be described by the word "Quality" entirely. Every second of the melody is just excellent, it sounds consistent and complete. The mood created by the melody is mysterious, it is difficult to express in words. To experience it, you need to listen to this module entirely in headphones (this is essential!). Confident 10 out of 10, I recommend this module to everyone who read this comment. | |

| A very cool track with piano and a rhythm that tries to raise you up from your place and make you dance. I really want to dance with someone to this track when I hear it. It is a pity that it lasts just a little over a minute. But nothing prohibits putting it on repeat and dancing as much as your heart desires. | |

| This is a very neat song with super synthetic sounds. It has only one flaw – sample 13 with bad loop points, which spoils the ending a bit, but this flaw has no effect on the quality of this song, it is still great. This module deserves more attention than it has now, it is actually well done. | |

| This is a very good chiptune in the style of C64 chiptunes, but in comparison with most other C64-styled chiptunes, it has relatively smooth sound. Taking into account the fact that it was made by two people in a co-op, I consider this module as a very solid work. | |

This is quite an interesting tune. With only 9 samples, it manages to create a post-apocalyptic atmosphere, thanks to a skilled use of samples and effect commands. It has three distinctive features: a very non-standard chord progression, non-standard drum sequence, and a sample that sounds like a steamer (thanks to the sample text). In general, it is difficult to add something else, except that it is a very decent module. (Warning: atmosphere spoiler comes next.) After listening, an analogy is formed: this module represents a working steam engine, which stops with the end of the tune. |

| This is a lovely, relaxing melody, which I can easily repeat for hours. It is not short – it is 4 minutes and 17 seconds long, but I can't stop playing it over and over – it is spellbinding for me. Piano and wah-wah guitar are particularly noteworthy in this melody, because they bring it to the heights. The piano gives a special beauty to the melody, while the wah-wah guitar makes it memorable. What's more, there is a gorgeous solo part of a wah-wah guitar in the middle. This is probably the key part of the whole melody. I highly recommend it for listening. It is worth it. | |

| This is a cleverly composed tune with very deep and cautious sound. Despite the fact that it sounds quite relaxing, the atmosphere created by it is tense. Samples are both chosen and mixed perfectly well, the volume is also balanced perfectly. Impressive work. Over 7 minutes long. | |

| I had goosebumps when I first heard this tune – the beginning and the ending of this module are brilliant. The module itself is a rock tune and, in my opinion, this is the best rock tune from an early era of Amiga modules (this one is from 1988). | |

| This melody is ingenious. Its structure is perfect. Like a good joke, it has setup (patterns 0–9) and punchline (patterns 10–11). If you hear the last two patterns (10 and 11), you would probably think: "Wow, I didn't expect this song to be SO good", because it reveals its nature gradually. Key details are being added pattern by pattern, making up at the end a full-fledged work of demoscene art. To secure its influence on the listener, the melody repeats its second half (patterns 5–11) again, leaving the listener defeated. Download this module now, and touch the classics of demoscene culture. | |
