Purple Motion's early work from 1991. Somewhat tightened – plays over 7 minutes without much variation. But it sounds strong as well as most of his other modules, and the ending is done well.

I am definitely not the first and not the last who leaves a comment on this module. Maybe I will surprise someone, but this is not the best sounding .s3m module I have ever heard on this site. But given the fact that this module, at the time I am writing this comment, has been favourited 215 times and downloaded 262792 times (wow, #2 most downloaded module now has only 133003 downloads – almost 2 times less), it becomes absolutely clear that here we face a platinum classic of the whole world of tracked music, an ultimate masterpiece for its time, a must-have for everybody who collects tracker modules, a must-listen for everyone who likes that kind of music. It also works good together with its origin – the "Second Reality" demo, but without the demo this module is still great. For me, there is nothing more memorable in this demo than outstanding Purple Motion's music. My personal respect goes to Purple Motion for making a gem that is still recognizable after almost 27 years.

Great stuff by Jester, as well as his other more famous modules. I like that dripping water sound effect (I hope this is water and not something else). I also like the chord progression here. By the way, I will venture to disagree with the previous commenter from 2001, who thinks (or, more likely, was thinking) that this module sounds very noisy. Let me ask a question: in what place it is noisy? To me, it sounds absolutely fine. Maybe the commenter just "turned up the volume on the stereo to a maximum extend"? Who knows…

I like the way this sweet melody goes – at first it gradually opens, presenting itself, then the first musical splash occurs, but it is not explosive, it is as smooth as the rest of the melody, after which it is a relaxed part again, and finally, another musical splash. It is a rare kind of modules that are smooth and not slow at the same time. Very nicely done.

This thing is beyond awesome. This is something that you would love from the very first time it plays in a player or tracker. Despite being another song about space, which were especially popular in late 1980s and early 1990s (from what I can see browsing the Archive), it manages to hit the mark with its powerful sounds, flowing straight in your ears at a fast pace. From all the modules about space – this is my personal favourite.

A progressive track from the end of the 20th century. Given that it was written in August 1999, I can feel that rush towards the new century, which actually began in 2001, not 2000 (a tiny bit of snobism here, sorry). Anyway, this is a good track full of hope. And that breathing towards the end completes the mood perfectly. It is a very unusual sound to hear in a module.

A good dance track with the feeling that the world is about to be destroyed by the most terrible thing or phenomenon that you can think of. Also you can imagine that something during the track irretrievably leaves, and after the track there is nothing to return. Enough said.

This is a very diverse module that plays 12:16. I can identify 13 parts in it, all of them I tried to describe briefly, but the comment turned out so long that the site rejected it (!). Nevertheless, considering module length, this is a well done musical assortment. Each part of it has its own character. I recommend you to check this module out to hear what I was trying to describe. It deserves 12 minutes and 16 seconds of listener attention.

Module starts off with a sad piano and strings, then 29 seconds later they suddenly change to a half upbeat, half timid song with beeping sounds, which two times per song are strangely accompanied by piano. Also the module has not got a proper ending, because it cuts off suddenly after repeating the same order of patterns two and a half times. I wonder if that phobia in the module title has an actual meaning, because I was thinking about that word for some time, and it is still not clear for me. And yet this song is kind of enjoyable for me in its very own way.

A very average attempt on making a chiptune. Slowly unwinds into a pretty good main part, but it lasts only for 4 patterns. Before and after these 4 patterns, there is nothing interesting about this module.

As you can learn from the internal texts, this is a conversion of Ennio Morricone's musical score for the 1973 film My Name Is Nobody. And I should say that it is done bad enough. This conversion is very far from the original. It lacks bassline, and I think it could get better samples in 1992 (when this tune was composed), but I could be wrong. I am able to close my eyes to all these shortcomings and even say that this module is average, but my final rating is 3.

Something sounding like a chiptune, but I am not sure. It is from 1995, as I had learned, and it is a slow melody with a saxophone-like sound as the main instrument. Bass sample is badly looped, but overall, I like the melody.

Maybe I don't get the idea, but this module feels very empty for me. I listened to it over ten times at different days and months in past three years, but my opinion has not changed much – it lacks bassline, and maybe it has good atmosphere, it is still disappointing for me. I was surprised when I found out that the composer of this module is a famous Jesper Kyd (see Internal Texts field of hallucinations)! He has much better modules than this one.

When I listen to this, country landscapes are drawn in my head, including jasmine fields… um… As for the melody itself, it is a smooth lyrical piano track with some strings and slightly monotonous transitions. Ending is a bit "drunk" for me, because it is slower than the main part and done in a key lower. At this moment I imagine myself drunk, wandering home… Ahem!

Unusual pattern structure here. Some patterns are divided in two, and at first there is a reference to the one half of it, and then – to the other. Plus it sounds a lot faster at some moments, especially at the end, although the tempo and ticks per row values are not changed. Very interesting. This chiptune will impress you if you will see all of this in the pattern editor during the playback.
