Mods 4 Keepsies

It is possible (and permitted) to mass download your favs for keeps, so you can transfer them to your favourite mod player etc.

With wget available via apt/package managers on Linux, this is very simple to do (plus there is wget for Windows too).

Click this link to generate a list of hot moddie links.

Copy and paste the links into your preferred text editor and save e.g hotties.txt.

To grab the modules, run: wget --content-disposition --no-clobber -i hotties.txt

This feature was made possible with lots of love, but if the lists you grab are massive, they MAY accidentally hit the anti-leech hammer imposed by the system and we don't want that to happen to you.

In these circumstances, you can include a wait-timer with the additional optional parameters:

  -w,  --wait=SECONDS              wait SECONDS between retrievals
                                     (applies if more then 1 URL is to be retrieved)
       --waitretry=SECONDS         wait 1..SECONDS between retries of a retrieval
                                     (applies if more then 1 URL is to be retrieved)
       --random-wait               wait from 0.5*WAIT...1.5*WAIT secs between retrievals
                                     (applies if more then 1 URL is to be retrieved)
